Stand Alone
"Stand Alone" and "Stand Together" were created from a desire to do something different. I wanted to experiment with a coarser textured paper and to paint with a more stylized approach. I chose a handmade paper which is made from both cotton and flax fibers and has a beautiful deckled edge.
The finished art is framed to show the natural edges of the paper which gives the paintings an organic but sophisticated presentation.
