Depending upon the subject matter, you may also need to provide reference photographs. Good, clear images, showing a variety of views, are a great help to me later in my studio. Also, depending upon your location, I may also be able to visit the site to make sketches, take photos and visit personally with you.

Back at the drawing board, I will use your photos and ideas to create several sketches of possible compositions. After viewing these sketches, you can then select the final design, size, and color palette for the finished painting. From this point, it will take between two to six weeks to create your watercolor, depending on my schedule.

The watercolor Judy painted for us shows the scene we had in mind beautifully and surpasses our every expectation. Her artistry is evident in every part of the painting. Not only do we have the painting we were hoping for, but we have pleasant memories of working with Judy....Judy was wonderful to work with and as a result , the picture is spot on.

We had a wonderful experience with Judy. We wanted to do something special for celebrating our century farm, and Judy helped us realize our dream. Judy led us through the whole process from choosing the view, to the matting and framing. She did an awesome job! We would highly recommend her work.

Judy saw the simple beauty of our little old house and completely captured the essence of what our family loves about it. Her approachability and professionalism made the entire process a joy.

Judy worked with us in choosing the most attractive angle of our house. She captured, not only the view we wanted, but also the feel, both my wife and I have for our home. We are very pleased.

I really enjoyed working with Judy....We started with just a concept and Judy helped narrow the focus. She did a fantastic job....It was exciting to see the hand sketches turning the concept we started with, into a picture....Judy was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process, and helped make this project successful.
