Survivor
The cottonwood is a defining presence on the prairie—an enduring sign of water, shelter, and life within an open landscape. These giants can live for more than three centuries, shaped by drought, flood, prairie fire, and lightning. Scarred yet standing, the cottonwood in Survivor carries the visible marks of time and trauma while continuing to thrive. It speaks to a quiet resilience—the strength not only to endure life’s hardships, but to grow stronger through them.
